Halloween is a spooky time filled with fun decorations, costumes and candy; which can make it hard to stick to any clean eating goals. Luckily, there are fun ways to incorporate healthy eating after the kids finish Trick-or-Treating to keep from getting hyper off all the candy, and to keep you in line of your goals! This recipe is a great single-portion snack and adds fun to the dinner table, and it is worth mentioning that Snack-o’-Lantern Fruit Cups are fun and easy to make.
Here is how to create this fun snack:
Grab some oranges.
Slice top off the orange.
Run a knife around its interior to hollow it out.
Scoop out the orange segments and save it for the filling, which is done later
Carve a pumpkin face on one side of the orange. There is the option to carve out other designs.
Use a paper towel to gently soak up any remaining juice inside the orange.
Cut up any fruit that you would like to have inside including the reserved orange segments and fill each cup.
Set the lid back on top and serve.
